Membership
Step 1:
Join the Seminole Natural Foods on Yahoo! (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SeminoleNFC/)
NOTE: You must set up a Yahoo! account with email to get started, but once you're in, you can go to membership settings and change your preferred email address. You can also choose to receive either individual or digest email delivery. We recommend individual mail delivery since the site is monitored and the only email published is important stuff you need to know, like delivery times.
Step 2:
Read the Buying Club Handbook, which is emailed to you automatically when you request the Yahoo! group membership.
Step 3:
Call or email the coordinator to provide your contact information for online accounts.
Is there a membership fee or dues?
No. You pay the posted price for items found at UNFI.com, with the exception of "extra specials," which show at a reduced price on the final invoice, A list of extra specials can be located in the files section on the SeminoleNFC Yahoo! group. Prices for produce may fluctuate slightly between the initial product offering and final invoicing.
Communication Requirements
As a member, you must provide up-to-date contact information including telephone number, mailing address and a valid email address. Seminole Natural Foods buying club uses the SeminoleNFC Yahoo! group as a communication tool regarding product information, ordering information and delivery schedules.
Technology Requirements
Microsoft Excel (or a compatible program) is required for entering specialty product orders. You will also need Internet access to place your United order via the online ordering systems.
